Human Torch can only fly when his entire body is engulf in flame, but it gives him the ability to float motionlessly in the air by creating thermal updrifts and when he releases flame from his hands and or feet it can push or propel his body through the air at speeds of up to 200 MPH in which ever direction he want to go, Torch can control how fast he goes. 2. Johnny doesn't have to totally flame on to use his other abilities, he can ignite any single part of his body he chooses to from just a toe or finger to just a lock of hair while the rest of his person remains flameless. He can release funnels of flame and heat from his hands and or feet at temperatures of less than 100 degrees to up to 1 million degrees when he goes nova, Johnny has totally control over the heat levels of his flame powers 3.
